Linuxcnc 2.8 TP look ahead was created by Tobig
- Hi, i built a plasma table with a Mesa 7i76e and proma thc, it runs great. But wihle cutting it stops after every segment for a split second. And i cant figure out why...
I run the G64 P0.1 Q0 in my gcode. It happens at every file. I think the tp isn't looking ahead...
I would be very grateful for your help.
Tobi

All seems good there, although i might have missed something, my eyes are very tired and foggy.
On the config panel there is a button to save the config, save it and upload the resulting file here, might have to do with very low accelerations.

You should use the PlasmaC config, the toma config is old, even i am not using it anymore!
It works perfectly, i have it still on several big industrial cnc plasma cutters, but PlasmaC is much better so i am slowly replacing it.
I can not find anything wrong in the ini file, so set the G64 P from 0.1 to 0.3 and do another test.

Ok thank you so much for your help.
Is there a easy way to switch or do you have tips for installing it?
