I am doing a retrofit for a drilling machine and all the process begining from drawing holes in 3d to postprocess to g-code are done on machine computer what are best programs for this process

Do you need 3D for a drilling machine?
I think perhaps SheetCAM might be a good fit. Input a 2D drawing of hole positions and enter the depth of each hole.
