Where has my simple operations (slots and circles) interface gone?

I only use LinuxCNC occasionally on my home-made 3-axis mill - with gaps of many months. At one time I discovered the handy interface that facilitated setting up simple slots and circles without having to import DXF files. I seem to remember it being a tab on the Preview | DRO tab group or to the right of the preview pane.
Can anyone remind me of the name of this feature and how to turn it on?

The 'ngcgui' command gives me a small config dialog. I can't get the actual GUI to start.
What next?
