the imx8? it probably could, i dont know that anyone has done it though. it looks capable to run linuxcnc and could use the 400mhz m4 core as some kinda real time driver. Ive been pondering over the imx8 for a while because it looks like a solid candidate, but its a bit over my head getting the stuff going. machinekt had some other myir boards running machinekit, i think it was the zturn with 7010
