Does the HAL tutorial have a second part? (And is there HAL tutorial for Mesa?) was created by clunc
Q. Where is the referenced information about bringing internal HAL signals out to run motors?\
Q. Is there a HAL tutorial and example for a Mesa-card system?
In preparation for trying to create a proper configuration for the new Mesa 6i25 I'm trying to bring up to replace a prior software-stepping setup, I have taken @PCW's advice to read the HAL Tutorial .
The tutorial ends with Section 5, "Halscope." However a previous Section 4.5, "Run It!", promises:
"Later in this tutorial we’ll see how to bring those internal signals out to run motors in the real world..."
That information is not in Section 5, and there is no "Continue Tutorial" link after it. I've looked in the parent directory but didn't see anything resembling "tutorial-part-2" or "-continued".
Also while there's an example of creating a software-stepgen, there's none for a Mesa-card replacement.
These two things led to my questions.

You could use pncconf to build a dummy configuration and then look at the files.
Those particular docs were built when parallel port configs were the most common.
