Font Size Display Issue was created by Barry
I am hoping someone on this forum may have solved the display issue that I'm having because I have searched many hours on the internet and tried many things but haven't found a solution for this problem yet.
Please note that I have multiple computers in my shop that are EXACTLY the same in ALL respects running Debian Buster XFCE and Linuxcnc Axis Buildbot interface. There is only 1 computer out of all of them that has this display issue. I have tried:
1) Swapping monitors.
2) Swapping display outputs from a display port, to the HDMI port to the VGA port
3) Uninstalling XFCE and reinstalling it.
4) Changing font size under Applications/settings/appearance/fonts
5) Changing the display resolution.
but nothing solves this problem. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
The issue is that the font size in the headers of ALL Apps is too small and squished together. Note the font size in the body of most ALL Apps is okay. It's mainly the headers. Screen shots showing the display issue and comparison screen shots showing what's normal are attached for reference.
Thank you in advance,
Barry

If you go to Applications -> Settings -> Appearance then click Fonts tab - there is a DPI setting at the bottom that can be tweaked, and then font sizes if necessary. I believe 96 dpi is default.

Thank you but yup I've already tried that...item number 4 in the 1st post. The default is 96 and I've been to 150. This does change the font size in general, but look closely at the screen shots. Notice how squeezed together the letters are in the Title Bar ribbon...so the larger you make the font the more the letters just pack together to the point that nothing is readible.
I figured a Xfce configuration file got corrupted so today I loaded KDE Plasma desktop and from there PURGED all Xfce desktop environment software off my computer including configuration files (or so I thought). Interstingly KDE Plasma worked great with no font issues. So from there I reloaded the Xfce desktop and configuration files and switched back to Xfce. The font issues in Xfce were still there with no change.
It's almost like each line in the Title bar needs to be stetched out WITHOUT changing the font size. Nornally changing the display resolution will do this but that's not the issue here. I've tried mutliple monitors and multiple display settings.
Please keep the suggestions coming.
Thank you,
Barry

Did you check what locale settings are being used on this PC and the other ones?
