Hello everyone
I am new to the world of CNCs, but I want to implement a CNC with a MESA card, but I don't know which one is the most recommendable and if by chance you have a manual or schematic for assembly and selection of motors, it would be of great help. Thank you all
Greetings from Colombia!

Currently, 7i96S is mostly available and has everything for a mill/plasma/lathe, 5 axis, spindle with encoder, not much IO but should still be enough.
And as everything Mesa, it can be expanded and added easily later if needed.

Thanks for answering
Forgive my ignorance and my lack of knowledge on this subject, but I still do not understand one thing and it is how do I configure or control that card, how is this programmed?
thank you

This one needs no programming, it just works with LinuxCNC, and it should also be in the wizard for configuring what is wired where and how.
But, might need to write new firmware in case you want to add a 7i76 or 7i77, again but, that might already be included in the downloads for Mesa 7i96S support.
And if expanded with Smart Serial Mesa cards, no firmware, those are "wire it and it runs", but this might need editing a hal file sometimes.

Ok thank you very much for everything
Last question, what is the difference between the one you recommend and the FPGA. Any improvement or progress?

7i96S has an FPGA in it, and connectors for easier wiring.
