Hello guys,
Just joined this forum looking for advise, it's my first project with linuxcnc.
I would like to update my Maho 500W to linuxcnc and also ad a MPG. First, I wanted to get an overview of waht it would take. I have already seen some forum posts with a similar topic. I seems that the mesa cards 7i97 or a 7i96s with an additional 7i77 are the most popular cards for such a project. Unfortunately I haven't found an available 7i97 or 7i77. Are there any alternative cards I could use or do you know where such a card is available?
I'm also glad for any tips to start such a project
