LinuxCNC error was created by tda2261
I am getting an error code when loading up LinuxCNC. I have the mesa boards installed. Error code: ' /usr/realtime-3.4.55-rtai-2/modules/linuxcnc/hm2_7i43.ko' : -1 Input/output error. could someone help me troubleshoot the error?

LinuxCNC did not find the 7I43 card.
some possible causes are:
7I43 not in EPP mode (7I43 jumper setting)
No 5V power to 7I43
Bad 7I43
Bad parallel cable or 7I43 not connected
Parallel port not in EPP 1.9 mode (BIOS setting)

On the BIOS it depends but there is usually an I/O setup section
and you can select the parallel port address and operational mode.
Is the 7I43 connected to a motherboard parallel port connector?

I found that it was in ECP mode in BIOS. I changed it EPP.
The board looks correct, do i need to change anything?
