Cam-align buttons greyed out

I've been trying to get cam align to work I've got everything working except the buttons which are greyed out
I've added
[MDI_COMMAND_LIST]
MDI_COMMAND = G10 L20 P0 X0Y0
MDI_COMMAND = G0x0y0z0
To the .ini file  and tried every variation i can find on the web
what am I doing wrong
using bookworm and linuxcnc 2.9.2

Is the machine homed?

Yes checked that

Please run ftlrom a terminal and post the output.

Also think its:

[MDI_COMMAND_LIST]
MDI_COMMAND =
MDI_COMMAND =

what version of linuxcnc are you using?

Chris sorry to have  troubled you but it wasn't homed I've spent 3 days trying to  get it to work and was turning it on and thinking I'd homed it. I've leaned a lot though that i wouldn't have if it had worked straight away.
