Automatic change of lathe tools.

Witam, chciałbym wykonać automatyczną wymianę narzędzi w tokarce i pytanie czy silnik krokowy głowicy rewolwerowej jest skonfigurowany jako oś dodatkowa?

It is possible as an extra axis, then through remap force stepper to reach certain position for each tool. but dont think it is good solution.

If you have professional revolver tool you should have switches or another way to code each tool position, and un-,locking mechanism then extra axis is not necessary,
Everything can be done via component: unlock the head, rotate until the position, and lock the head.  

This is how the stepper motor is controlled and whether an electronic PCB is needed ?

Can you send pictures of that revolver and motor plates that is rotating it?
Do you have electrical and mechanical documentation of this revolver?

Nie mam go jeszcze gotowego, mam tylko silnik krokowy SM 60/86-3008B - 3,1Nm, siłownik pneumatyczny CQ2 50x10 Compact, koła i pasek. Obudowa i koło zmieniacza są w budowie.

Interesuje mnie jak steruje się silnikiem krokowym i jaki sterownik jest potrzebny do sterowania?
