Router Will not run was created by Irritant
Hi, I am using a Bosch router on a new install.
I can't get the actual router to turn on and off. Probotix controller.
Pin 14 "Spindle On" does nothing and if I invert the pin it will not stop.
Thanks!

I already pointed out in one of your other post about this very same topic that you were missing all spindle related hal entries and I suggested you create a new configuration with a spindle included. Have you actually done that?

Well, I spent most of yesterday at this and I don't appear any further ahead. When I ran Axis on a very similar machine a number of years ago I never saw or heard about HAL. I guess I will keep at it maybe I will get a flicker of light.
Thanks for the help, Ian aka Irritant

I spoke too soon. I have it turning off and on!
Not sure how this connects to axis however.

That is the idea of the Pncconf and Stepconf tools. It should create all HAL connections for you, provided the user entered the correct information of course. Once everything runs you should not need to touch any of the config files again. When I ran Axis on a very similar machine a number of years ago I never saw or heard about HAL.
