Backlash Problems was created by efinkg
I have a Hurco KM3 running EMC2 through a Mesa 7i37 that has a Z axis backlash where it reports that it is .0019 inches from the position I would like it to be in. I have tried using Backlash in PncConf and straight to the .ini file, with both the "right value" of .0019 and ridiculous values like .2, with no changes. It is a closed loop system, what do I do to try and remedy this?
Thanks!

Is this a disagreement between the onscreen DRO and the commanded position, or the commanded position and a separate DRO? Or something else?
Is this a stepper system or a servo system?
