NCconf encountered an error. The following information may be useful in troubleshooting:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/pncconf", line 8009, in on_complete_finish
self.data.save()
File "/usr/bin/pncconf", line 3303, in save
self.write_halfile(base)
File "/usr/bin/pncconf", line 2545, in write_halfile
if needed:
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'needed' referenced before assignment

Yes I think I see the error.
Question - are you asking for an extra lowpass component?
If you also add a pyvcp or glade panel does the error go away?
Thanks Chris

this error should go away if you _do not_ have options:
include custom pyvcp gui panel
include custom gladeVCP panel
and I see that lowpass component is not on the HAL component page so that should not be a problem
Is this true?
Is this a config you created with a different version of PNCconf?

When you picked pyvcp option did you uncheck 'includehal connections'?

I might have? I tried so many things. I have used it before and was successful but I am working with resolvers and was trying to get a base layout for a lathe and keep it as clean as possible and add things later. I turned off the PYvcp and it did finish.

K. Thanks for the bug report. i will fix that soon.
Did you add an XML file that had resolvers on it?
PNCconf can configure resolvers but it needs the XML file.
I can make one for you if you have the .BIT file from Peter.
