5i25 parport replacement - totally confused

I think he wants to use the mesa 5i25 with prob_rfx2 firmware, as the pinout of the DB25 connectors on it matches most parallel port stepper drivers and can be used without daughter card.

Sometimes it feels like I'm losing the battle ...lol
I am currently re-factoring pncconf to make it load faster and hopefully easier to maintain.
