Hi folks.
I have some question about external mpg and pncconf.
I build my own mpg for old mpg parts, it has 2 rotary switches to select axis and feedrate, one input for each selection. I would like to know how do i config it using pncconf?
I started with.
I selected external mpg jogging
Shared mpg
Selectable mpg increments.
I'm using mesa board 7143, my problem is that i don't know witch function i need select in that page do config the mpg.

on the mesa page pick an GPIO input and select 'Axis selection' and 'Joint select A'
Do the same for whatever amount of AXES you need. eg joint b, joint c
joint-select-a is for X axis
joint-select-b is for y axis
joint-select-c is for Z axis
now on the mesa page select 'Overrides', 'jog select a'
again add more inputs depending on how many jog speeds you may want.
in this case the signal can be multiplexed for more selections (up to 16)
If you don't want to multiplex then 4 speeds is the max
if you don't multiplex then only the bold faced speeds on the external page are available.
finally find an encoder counter on the mesa page and select multi hand wheel
hopefully that should do it

did you try the help button on the external page?
I see I didn't explain how the axis selection worked...
