Hi,
- i use pncconf to configure my 3-Axis machine (5i25/7i76 Board).
- For this machine i need to plug two stepper motors for the X-axis.
- And i have for each stepper motor a separate stepper driver.
In the pncconf configuration Wizard i choose XYZA-Axis configuration. How can i change my INI/HAl-Files to use two stepper motors for the X-axis?
Attached are my INI/HAL-files, with this configuration i can drive three steppers (xyz), but the fourth in the A-axis not.
Can someone help me.

Not positive what version you are using - but look at the stepper selection combo box for 'X2'.
this will follow 'X' commands.
I haven't check the HAL file for this option in a while so there may be some bugs.

Hi Chris,
thank you very much for the tipp. At the Mesa Configuration-Board(I/O Connector 3) i select in the combo box "X2 Tandem StepGen" for the second stepper motor.
... now i can drive all steppers as i want.
