configuration errors-recover from power loss was created by bottleworks
Hello.
I've had a few power failures thanks to duke power. LinuxCNC stopped starting up afterwards, however, running touch forcefsck and a reboot used to repair it.
That stopped working and I did a fresh install of 2.5.0, but I can't get it to start up. I've attached the log. This system was using this same config for years.
I installed the 5i25 UPDATE files and installed "xhc-hb04". Interestingly. I wasn't able to compile a fresh copy of xhc-hb04, as it produced errors. I used a copy compiled from a year+ ago.
What's wrong? Thanks!

I tried swapping out a backup of the config folder I had on a server. That copy resolved the issue. I'm not sure what got corrupted, but something must have. I need to add a Tesla battery backup.

Hello again. Odd thing going on here....
After every restart, I have to replace ~/linuxcnc from a backup for LCNC to start up. Otherwise I get:
I'm at a loss as to what could be wrong. At first, I thought the hard drive could be failing. I replaced the drive and installed LinuxCNC 2.5.0 from CD. This issue still occurs. Ideas?
