7i76E with 7i74

Hi,

I've been looking through the source to see if there is any support for the 7i74 DB25 daughter cards for the 7i76E.

I can't see any code reference. Are these daughter cards to be supported in the near future? I'm looking to add a few rs422 to my machine.

You wont see any mention of the 7I74 (or sserial daugtercards in general) in the linuxcnc source
as the remotes are all autodetected via discovery, specifically so the driver _does not_
have to have any card specific information

You would need 7I76e firmware that had the desired 7I74 pinout and modules
(The 7I74 is generic full duplex RS-422 interface so can be used for sserial,SSI,BISS,UART,FANUC-ABS modules etc )

When I looked around pcconf I noticed that other boards could be added to the 7i76e conf tabs like on I/O Conn 1 such as the 7i84. I thought I might find the 7i74 in there somewhere.
