Pncconf PWM Config was created by LS
I'm converting my existing parport setup to 5i25.
Attachment 1 shows my existing ParPort configuration (stepconf) for the PWM spindle output.
Attachment 2 shows the pncconf spindle config screen. I can't find where I configure the spindle PWM (200Hz). I can only find analog spindle output.
Can someone please help. Thanks
Thanks,
Luke

PWM and analogue amount to much the same thing in this context.
Which is actually used depends somewhat on the daughter-cards attached to the 5i25.

Looks like pncconf cannot set the PWM frequency via the GUI so you
will have to edit the hal file that pncconf creates.
something like changing:
setp hm2_5i25.0.pwmgen.pwm_frequency 20000
to
setp hm2_5i25.0.pwmgen.pwm_frequency 200
will have to edit the hal file that pncconf creates.
something like changing:
setp hm2_5i25.0.pwmgen.pwm_frequency 20000
to
setp hm2_5i25.0.pwmgen.pwm_frequency 200

Thanks guys.
@andypugh: There is no daughter card on this setup -- I've connected the 5i25 directly to an existing parport controller.
@PCW: Thanks, I'll manually edit the hal file.
Cheers,
Luke
