Hello !
It's my first post so be patient please
I worked few years on LinuxCNC LPT version and now I decided to jump on mesa cards.
I chose 5i25 + 7i76. I made everything according manual & information from forums. (correct PC dell GX270, 5i25 firmware, jumpers, root access, Linux upgrade to 2.7.12. Problem is that my set still doesn't work.
I started to measure signals & I found that high step signals on DB25 5i25 wire 14, 15 & 16 have not more than 1V. Dir signal seams to work fine (about 5V).
Could you help me to solve that please ? What could be a reason?

I would not expect the step signals to have high levels if measured with a meter since they will idle in the low state
and only be high during the actual step pulse
and only be high during the actual step pulse
