7i76e with two ethernet ports was created by trilobyte
id like to set up an Up Squared with two ethernet ports and a 7i76e.
how can i get an network connection with dhcp for the internet connection and on the other port the connection to the 7i76e?

I think many 7I76E users will have two network connections basically you need to know the device names of the two Ethernet interfaces and set them up appropriately
Plugging in a active Ethernet cable and running the
ip a
command at a terminal will allow you to identify which port is which
Then you need to set one up for normal DHCP (this is likely the default setup)
and the other (7I76E connection) with the desired static IP as described in the hm2_eth manual page
