Hi
they are adtech ac servo so not sure why they are that low.
Were using a 5mm lead screw and will use 3um absolute linear encoders on linear axis so hope servo can do fine adjustments like that?

that's right... I reduced the step length from 5000 to 2500 and it worked (@ 4600 mm/min, corresponds to 920 U/min approx)
when I try to increase the velocity to 1000 RPM, the drive blocks showing the following alarm (position following error)
does the adjustment of the step/turn on the drive give some help ?

Steps/turn should be fixed, set only once and never messed with again for that machine, and should be exactly the number of steps per mm or inch of movement, derived from steps per turn, divided by the amount of movement per turn and multiplied by the microstepping setting on the drive.
