I am using PnCConf to set up a wood router with mesa 5i25 and 7i76 The home switches don't work.
If I edit mesa_7i76.hal and change
net min-home-x <= hm2_5i25.0.gpio.08.in
to
net min-home-x <=hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.input-08
it fixes the problem.
Is this a bug in PnCConf or a bug in me?

Is it possible you chose the wrong tab in pncconf when setting up the home input?
You should choose the 7I76 I/O (#SS0) tab
I made a test config with the current pncconf and got:
# --- HOME-X ---
net home-x <= hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.input-08
# --- HOME-Y ---
net home-y <= hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.input-09
# --- HOME-Z ---
net home-z <= hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.input-10
In the created hal file

It is a mistake you made setting up your config in PNCConf.
On the screen where you configure the I/O, Don't select anything on the tabs for I/O Connectors 2 or 3, The tab for 7i76 I/O (SS#0) would be for the field I/0 on the 7i76, that should be where you would connect your home and limit switches. The other two tabs are for using the pins directly on the 5i25 card as GPIO without a Mesa daughter card such as the 7i76.

Thank you for the help. On the first tab I had entered 0 smart serial ports so the 7i76 tab was missing.
