I am going to start wiring up my Teco FM50 from 7i77, I found some info. and just wanted to see if it sounds right.
On/Off and the input 4 is FWD/REV. This is the the way you probably
want to wire it.
7i77 pin 21 ENA5- -> Inverter 3 (FWD)
7i77 pin 22 ENA5+ -> Inverter 6 (+12V)
7i77 pin 23 GND -> Inverter 10 ( 0V)
7i77 pin 24 AOUT5 -> Inverter 9 (MVI)
And can I just wire directly from the 7i77 to the vfd without any relays?

Yes, you should be able to wire directly
One caution: VFDs are often very noisy electrically so its better to feed the
7I77s analog out and GND signals through a common mode choke
( a large ferrite bead ) on the connecting cable to avoid introducing this noise
into the rest of the system

Should the ferrite beads just go to the wires going to the motor, or should they be on the wires coming off the 7i77 too?

Both will help
Note that if you have a common mode choke on the motor leads, it needs
to be a single core over all 3 (UVW) motor wires. Like wise, the core for
the analog out and 7I77 Gnd to the VFD should be a single core over
both analog out and Gnd.

Ok thanks, would it hurt anything if I put it on all the VFD wires, and can I just use the ones that clip on over the wires?

One core for UVW, one core for 7I77 connections should do
An input line filter can also help
Keep the power side wiring/common mode choke
away from the 7I77 control signal wiring, common mode choke
Clip-on should be fine

Would sheilded wire be better to use, I have some from the old control that I could use.
