Automatically convert parallel port setup to 7i92=>DB25? was created by Maecki
Hi,
at the moment I have a parallel port driven 6040 at an old desktop pc's parallel port.
i ordered a 7i92 to connect the bob to and use a newer PC with ethernet to drive it.
Is there an automatic way to generate the 7i92 configuration/bitfile from the parport linuxcnc settings?

better is to use a complete new Setup from the configuration tool to get better and faster movement on your timing
the 7i92 uses HARDware stepper from Board
the parport is a computer/PC based timing
you will be impressed what the machine is capable of
