Good evening
I manage to wire all my machine and linuxcnc does not give any error.
At this point I started to home X and everything went well; than after that I have tried to home the Y and Y2 (synchronized) and I can see from the HAL SHOW that they copy moving but physically the two motors don't make any movement.
When I power on the machine all the motor are engaged (I mean you cannot freely turning the shaft).
I m going to post my ini and hal file.
If anyone has some idea would be great.
Thanks in advance
V.

If your stepper does not turn, but Halshow does something, it could be that your cables are incorrect or the configuration of the stepper time in ini file.
In any case, increase MIN_LIMIT = -0.01 to -1. That is too close to the end position and check HOME_OFFSET = -5
DIRSETUP = 5000
DIRHOLD = 8000
STEPLEN = 1500
STEPSPACE = 1500

Thank you very much Chris
I think is the number you just posted the right one.
I ve tried to add another Pncconf to try to move the motor and one of the Y motor move in only one direction so tomorrow with a clear mind I will check the wiring and put the right number into the files.
Hopes it works otherwise i will be here again.
Your help is really precious.
Thanks again.

As Chris has said re:
STEPLEN = 1500
STEPSPACE = 1500
Try doubling or tripling the above

Morning everyone
No luck.
I checked all the wiring and everything seems ok.
What amaze me is the fact that step motor X has no problem with the same figure and Y move only in one direction.
I might try to divide more the step from 800 to 1600.
Thanks again

Step time and space should be 5000
-remove the connector from 7i76 X axis and insert the one from Y or Y2 or Z to test.

Good evening to everyone
Thanks Tommy, that's exactly what i did but did not solve the problem.
So what I did in the end was to check all the connection from the avion jack, I have two of these connector for each axis, one for pulse and direction and the other to broadcast the signals from the encoder.
What i found out was that two connection that i soldered were bridged, in other words they were touching each other.
So patiently I checked all the others avion jack and now is ok.
i did not home the machine yet because i have to solve another problem with my hal file at this link

Thanks again for all your help.
