New to LinuxCNC - How to setup 6i25 with 7i77 and 7i76

I have the 6i25, 7i77 and 7i76 hooked up with the Mesa cables and 5i25_7i77_7i76 firmware loaded.  I ran the PnCConf wizard and saved the configuration.  But when I run LinuxCNC, I receive an error message about a pin hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.0.input-00
does not exist.  I am brand new to LinuxCNC, so I apologize if I'm not posting this correctly.  I configured both 7i77 and 7i76 to get field power from the 6i25, but neither  board has the "Field Power" LED illuminated.

7i77 and 7i76 can not get field power from 6i25, the get logic power from it.
Field power must be from 8 to 24V and is on a separate connector on each daughter card.
Please check the manual before wiring power to them.
Another thing to check:
mesaflash --device 5i25 --readhmid
post the output here and also pictures of the cards and where they are wired to the 6i25.

Yes, the field power is applied to the orange connectors on the 7I77 and 7I76
This is completely separate from the logic side power

FYI, i have 2 of the 7i77 that came with green power connectors, everything else including 7i77 came with orange ones, bought about 3 years ago from www.eusurplus.com.
Hence why i did not mention color.

Might be older, we changed from green to orange at least 6 years ago

Thank you! Once I got the field power and +5 hooked up, it looks good now.

Thanks, I was confused about the +5 coming from the 5i25, VIN and Field Power.
Now it makes sense.
