Hey there, so i've recently aquired 4 Stepper motor kits with the in the subject mentioned stepper/servo drivers and nema 34 steppers. I've properly set them up, at least I think so.

Hardwarewise: 230 to 70V trafo and, after i first discovered the issue, i have put a bridge rectifier in between to see, if the AC Input was the issue, which it wasnt (at least the issue was still there).

Softwarewise: Im not quite shure. i have set up linux an a pc and connected the 7I96 with a RJ45 cable and the card was registered. In the cofiguration i've set up the axis ports and nearly everything i've left on default just wanting to test if the motors were even spinning. After turning everything on and giving the input to move an axis the assigned motor started to oscillate. but not like some degrees or something it vibrates.

Im completely new on Linux CNC so if you need any additional Information, please tell me and i will do my best to provide those.

Kind Regards

Christian Steinbauer

In your .ini file you have
STEP_SCALE = 1

It's meant that you have 1 step/mm, as wrote PCW.
You need to count how many steps you have for 1 mm and to write it instead.
