Usually means there is no field power applied.

As far as I can tell the board is powering on just fine.

As far as I can tell the board is powering on just fine.

led's will come on the board whether there is field power or not.

Did you apply field power to the orange connector?

I see now I am running logic power in but not field power, do I need to keep the logic power connected, or is only field power necessary?

If you do not get communication with the 7I76 field I/O section you will not
have any hal pins associated with the field I/O.

Lack of communication could be caused by:

1. No field voltage
2. 7I76. W1 in right hand position
3. No 5V power or mis-matched FPGA card/7I76 cable power options
4. Wrong firmware in FPGA card
5. Bad/loose cable between FPGA card and 7I76
6. 7I76 setup/operate jumper (W3) in setup position
