MPG Setup in PNC Config Question

Hello, I've setup my CNC Mill to jog using a MPG Handwheel, I have an image of it attached to this post. The Mesa card I'm using is a 7i76E

Editing the HAL file works, but I would prefer to setup the inputs using PNC Conf. I don't know how to use the External Controls page on PNC Conf, please point me to resources that explain how to use it. I'm using 3 GPIO pins on TB6 to select XY or Z axes, and 3 pins for 0.0001, 0.001 or 0.010 increaments. Is there a way to use PNC Conf to setup those pins, or should I leave them as "unused input" and manually change it? Any help or links to learning resources is greatly appreciated.

Hi thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for.

I see it forgets to mention 'axis selection' pins (for use with one MPG for multiple axes.) but I think you'll get the idea.
