Two issues:
-Mesa 7i74 MUST be connected to an IDC26 port, not an RS422 one
-No switch or hub or router or access point between the PC and controller, it MUST be directly wired.

Mesa 7i76E has two of the IDC26 ports , so one goes to 7i77 and the other to 7i74.

Great tips,

I have updated the design
1) IDC connection from 7I76 to 7I74
2) Direct Ethernet connection from PC to 7I76E.

Looks OK.
If you want more, there are Mesa 7i84 that attach to 7i74 and have 32 inputs/16 outputs, 7i73 that attaches to 7i74 and is MPG/pendant/control panel/display/feed overrides/etc, and others, these are just some of what i have.
