5 usec is usually OK unless you have very slow drives
Also for many low end drives, single ended step/dir
connections are better.

Gecko 320 are single ended drives. So I have the mesa 7i76 configured for single ended drives. Even with 5usec the servos still dont seem to move. Is there a good way to check if I have messed up the wiring.

For single ended you would connect only the STEP-, DIR- and +5V from the 7I76 to the G320
Are you testing with LinuxCNC? I would do that rather than using pncconfs test routine.

Got the motors moving! Turned out that I had everything wired correctly and that there was an issue with the power supply. All sorted now. Tanks for all of the help.
