7i96S cant connect was created by ihavenofish
Trying to set up a new linuxcnc install with mesa 7i92s card.
Right off the start i have a road block.
- Linuxcnc seems too have installed fine
- Mesa card powers up and some flashy lights happen, then all the 4 green lights go out.
- Linux says "network unreachable".
- it keeps retyring this over and over.
Is there something obvious I have missed here? A driver or some such to set up?
I don't think there's any problem with the network card or cable

So, obviously the network works cause im using it to post this.
But when i disconnect, then attach the mesa, i get nothing. The IP-a result is the same in either case.
I saw some other posts on this, but they didnt really get resolved in a straight forward way.

You have to setup the network for use with Mesa.
What version of Linux and LinuxCNC are you using?
