No need for firmware, that is a warning only, and it is used for older Mesa cards, new ones have their own flash memory.

I was successful in creating the ini and hal files but now when I attempt to launch LinuxCNC I can't find my configuration in the options and when I create a shortcut on the desktop and launch it from there I receive this error.
