MESACT Spindle Tab Grayed Out for 7i95T

Hello,

Another noob here. This forum is excellent. I've managed to solve all of my issues up to this point reading the various related threads. I haven't found another thread concerning this issue, so I'm guessing I am doing something wrong. I have a 7i95T, using the mesa configuration tool, v 2.1.0 on LCNC 2.10 bookwork. I cannot figure out how to edit the spindle configuration when using mesact and 7i95T_pwmd.bin firmware. Everything under the Spindle tab is grayed out. Does anyone know how to make the spindle field active? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

are you using pncconf or mesact?

This is when using mesact, though I receive an error when using pncconf as well, even when loading the PIN file.

Until pncconf or mesact supports a spindle interface on the 7I95T,
you could create a 7I96S configuration with spindle setup and copy-paste
the hal/ini file spindle setup sections from the 7I96s config to the 7I95T
config (changing any names as needed)

I've done this, but get an error every time saying it doesn't recognize pid.s.Pgain

Can you post your current hal/ini files?

An FYI, I've found what appears to be a bug with mesact. I'm using v 2.0.1. As mentioned above, the Spindle tab is grayed out 7i95tx or 7i95txyz. However, after loading a pre-configured ini for the 7i95t, if I change the board selection from 7i95t to 7i96s and then back to 7i95t, the spindle tab is active. I can then build the needed files and LCNC opens without error.
