7i80db_16_mx4660x2D.bit
7i80db_16_Benezanx2.bit
Are two existing firmware imaged for the 7I80DB-16
which have parallel port compatible pinouts and include stepgens
These would need to be written to the 7I80DB-16 with mesaflash
pncconf should be able to make a decent config for this but I would
probably select 7I92 + G540x2 and then edit the ini file to change the
card name from 7I92 to 7I80

I loaded 7i80db_16_mx4660x2D.bit
Had to disable the pwm lines. Error file said it could not find the pwm.
After that LinuxCNC will open. Haven't tried to connect to the breakout board.
Not sure how to connect the dots between the physical pins and the hal file.

For stepgens and PWMGens, The pinout is fixed
(as shown by the readhmid printout) So these just
need to be assigned to physical axis or spindle control
in pncconf.
You do need to determine the mapping of of physical pins
to GPIO in pnccof for things like general purpose outputs
or general purpose inputs, Again the readhmid pinout will
help here.
