Mesa 7i92H-7i77 single setup was created by Smarttowers
I'm trying after many years to bring a bridgeport v2xt back to life. I purchased the hardware to do so years ago and never got around to it until now.

I have managed to get linuxcnc to see the 7i92H and had previously flashed the 7i77 firmware on the 7i92. Right now I am having an issue with adding I/O to the file. Before adding the I/O in pncconf the file will launch linuxcnc properly. After adding it I get an error.
Here are my files that were created by pncconf.

The error I'm getting contains "hm2_7i92.0.7i77.0.0.output-00" saying it doesn't exist. when I remove all the outputs it moves to the same error with inputs.

Any help is greatly appreciated need to get this machine running.

This error most often happens when either 5V or field power is missing
from the 7I77, the cable jumpers on the 7I92 do not match the 7I77, or the 7I77
is jumpered for setup mode.

I believe I have all the jumpers set correctly and I'm supplying 5v with a benchtop supply.

7i92H:
Jumper w3,w4 are in the up position.
7i77:
Jumper w5 is in the left position.
Jumper w4 and  w12 are in the left position.

Is field power (+8 to +28V on Orange connector) being supplied to the 7I77?

No currently only 5v is supplied through the ribbon cable.

Without field power, none of the field I/O bits will be present

I guess I'll need to put it in the system to continue from where I currently am.

Or just supply the field power with say a 9-19VDC wall wart for testing

Thank you for your assistance. I was able to get the limit switches and estop working today. When I have time in a few weeks I'm going to start the axis's.

Goal is to get it working to sell it since some plans have changed and I could really use the money.
