libtk-img missing? was created by ikkuh
ngcgui will not run on my machine. It complains about libtk-img missing, but it is installed:

sudo apt install libtk-img
Pakketlijsten worden ingelezen... Klaar
Boom van vereisten wordt opgebouwd... Klaar
De statusinformatie wordt gelezen... Klaar
libtk-img is reeds de nieuwste versie (1:1.4.13+dfsg-1).
0 opgewaardeerd, 0 nieuw geïnstalleerd, 0 te verwijderen en 0 niet opgewaardeerd.
Newest version is installed is the message from apt-get.

How do I run ngcgui now?

can you post the error message from the terminal?
To be clear this is using the new builtin version of ngcgui in qtdragon?
If so did it ever work for you? It works on my test machine, but I use a very old version of Mint.

No, this is the stand alone version of ngcgui. There are no messages in the terminal when I try to use it. I never got around trying it in qtDragon because the sim doesn't work on my machine forum.linuxcnc.org/qtvcp/46029-qtdragon-...-work-anymore#244065
