I was pleased to discover that ELO, and several other manufactures, have made some small touch screens with a single USB interface for Video, Touch, and power. For example the ELO 0700L 7-inch Display

This touch screen and others like it use DisplayLink for video. Of course this is very well supported on Windows and Mac OSs, as well as some of the newer versions of Ubuntu, but I'm wondering if anybody has used a display like this for linuxcnc?

The 0700L is quite affordable, and would be useful for lots of applications as it is around $225 and can be used where only a usb interface is available.

Any thoughts?

The only ELO touch screen I've been able to get to work with Ubuntu 10.04 is the IntelliTouch versions.
