Looks like you can buy the "upgrade" too, $35.00 for the manual & DVD from Tormach

That would be good, but unfortunately from the FAQ on the sales page it looks like the upgrade is only for existing customers, not third party machines.

I've sent an email to Tormach asking how I can order a copy of the software to the UK under the GPL. To avoid hijacking this thread any further I'll create a new thread with their answer when I have it.

Has anyone received a copy of the path pilot? if not, would it be against the Licensing/GNU if i ordered it and posted? Would love to see an open version source of it.

I've ordered the disk, but it's not arrived yet.

I'll let you know what's on there. I don't think there'd be any legal reason why I couldn't post the contents of it online, unless anyone knows better?
