Touch screen resolution

Hi guys,

I am planning to buy an Elo Touch 1366x768px 15” display for my mill controller.
Since axis gui is quite old and gmoccapy is the next best alternative, I am also keeping an eye on the QTPyVcp based UI as an alternative to gmoccapy.
Can someone tell me if the resolution of this screen would be suitable for new QtPyVcp ui-s that are yet still in development?
The display will be a frameless, zero bezel, quite expensive piece of equipment...so I would like to be compatible with the future.
Also, does anyone knows if pathpilot can scale to this resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio?
I saw that tormach sells 17” monitors with a 4:5 aspect ratio.
