In linuxcncrsh, I set set_wait to done and expect to get a reply when the actual position reaches the commanded position.. 80% of the time, that is what happens. 20% of the time, the reply comes early. Isn't this what set_wait done means? If not, what should I be doing to get this behavior? I have loops to check the actual position before continuing, but this is slow and ridiculous. I am communicating with the ruby socket gem over a wireless connection.

hi if you get a look at the Styro/Foam option stop/wait at corner you may find a solution
you also need to set G61 at the programm start so it moves realy to the commanded postition then the function triggers perfect

you can monitor halui distance to go
and halui at command end
also a AND2 that monitors programm running and motion in position can give you a option
