"Axis Calibration Tool" does not work with a #include ini file?

I added emccalib.tcl to my gui and it does for for making changes in place, but it will not save to the .ini. A message pops up:

Save to: <blah.ini.expanded>
Expanded file for #INCLUDEs
#INCLUDE files (*.inc) must be edited separately.

I do use a #INCLUDE. And I understand why it won't write to the blah.ini.expanded that is generated from the inclusion of a #INCLUDE. I don't actually understand why it won't write to the .ini or .inc files that create the .ini.expanded. It's actually fine that it won't write to the .inc file, I keep any axis/joint stuff in the original .ini file anyway.

Is therer any workaround to get it to write to the original .ini file?

I doubt that there is any workaround other than changing the code that is refusing to do what you want.

It's probably less trouble to note the new PID numbers and put them in by hand.

My friend is looking into it, I'm thinking maybe it can be called with an argument for the original .ini file but I don't know that for sure.

Obviously it's easier to just hand edit the ini file if it's a once in a while deal but I'm shooting for completeness with this particular GUI.
