New Arduino based USB pendant

hello everybody,
recently I started to work on an USB pendant for my LCNC/gmoccapy CNC/router. I was tired using the mouse for interactions.
ArcEyes great work was the starting point so I called it ArduinoPendant3 and serialcom3. This is work in progress and just a snap shot. I start to publish it anyway now. Maybe somebody has comments or ideas for improvement.
HW is a 4x5 pushbutton matrix on a 120x80 mm breadboard, a 20x4 LCD display and an Arduino nano. I plan to build a 3D-printed enclosure with integrated pads for the pushbuttons.

Hardware is complete now.
As you can see, 3D-print is not perfect, but functionally it is ok.
Now software needs completion an optimization.
