CAPTCHA (Logitech Joystick pendant)

I have been able to get the Logitech F310 Joystick to work as a jogging Pendant in LinuxCNC wheezy. Cannot find information on how to get the Keyboard LinuxCNC function buttons to work. What are the net, addf, hal statements needed to do the following:
Key  Function  hal.btn-button (Logitech F310)
F2    Power      input.0.btn-thumb2
R      Run           input.0.btn-thumb
P      Pause      input.0.btn-top
S      Start         input.0.btn-joystick

Please disregard my post, found the answer. If anyone is interested I have found a very easy method for getting a Logitech F310 dual action controller to work as a pendant with full features on the buttons and joysticks. I have tested it on LinuxCNC 32bit ubuntu 10, 32bit wheezy, and 64 bit buster.
