Einfache Automatisierung (Serienproduktion) mit LinuxCNC möglich?

Hallo Leute,

nachdem nun meine Fräse, dank Eurer Unterstützung hervorragend läuft, würde mich interessieren, ob man mit LinuxCNC auch eine kleine Automation hinbekommen könnte.

Im Grunde ginge es darum einen kleinen, flachen Rohling auf einer kleinen Vakuumplatte zu platzieren, den Unterdruck einzuschalten und ein Fräsprogramm ablaufen zu lassen. Ich würde dies z.B. mit einem kleinen Magazin realisieren, in welchem die kleinen (flachen) Rohlinge übereinander gestapelt werden und ein Pneumatikzylinder immer den unteren Rohling aus dem Magazin und auf die Vakuumplatte schiebt (gleichzeitig das fertige Werkstück von der Platte schiebt)

Ist so etwas mit LinuxCNC umsetzbar?  
Wenn nicht, habt Ihr hier einen Vorschlag?
Ich habe auf diesem Gebiet leider keine Erfahrung,

Yes, it should be possible to do that, but would require a bit of hal wizardry.
Using digital outputs to control the pneumatic solenoids and some sensors to be sure the cylinders did they work and avoid mishaps.

I think that should be a solvable task.
At this time my Mesa 7I96s uses only 6 from 11 inputs and 1 out of 6 outputs.
So pure technicaly this shouldn`t be a problem.

Is there an example in the documentation, where i can look into?
Basicaly it`t the same as for a tool changer...

this is a very good starting-info.
By the way, is there a expansion-board for my 7I96s availlable?
I had a look in some shops, but there isn`t availlable any of these cards, except 7i96s!

Mesa :
7i85 or 7i85S = 4x SSerial and 4x encoder
7i70 48x inputs
7i71 or 7i72 48x outputs (sinking or sourcing)
7i73 MPG, pots, keyboard, panel
7i83 4x analog out
7i84 32x inputs and 16x outputs
There are more probably.
7i85 uses a DB25 connector, all of the others listed above use SSerial

so 7i84 would be a perfect option, but it seems not in stock in any shop..

Auch sinking outputs, aber das müsste man ja hinbekommen mit ein bischen Aufmerkstamer Verdrahtung.

How does "classic ladder" work? I thought that is a special tool for these kind of "extra tasks".

For slow I/O for your workpiece exchange you can also use (provided you have a PCI slot or PCIe Slot) one of the cheap parallel port cards and a simple Break out board for the parport?

Or you buy an external PLC  (Programmable Logic Controller) if I/O needs to be added anyway. Then you only need the Input to start the PLC and a few outputs to make sure everything is, ready with workpiece change and start new machining cycle.

I assume you can understand the guy. (for the English speaking folks, Talla83 English subtitles usually are very usable)
