I have stumbled across how to install your custom GUI so you can run it with linuxcnc path to your ini.

The details are in my Custom GUI Tutorial part 3.

Almost at the same time I found out how to run an application at start up . It's dead nuts simple you just add it to your System > Preferences > Startup Applications and when you boot up it runs.

Hi BigJohnT.
first of all thanks for your tutorials

One question, how I can use the EMC SourceView?

how I can add a different code, of the code G (inside SourceView EMC) using python? :(

look your tutorials to create a GUI, but still there is no signal for the tab "G Code"

Thanks,

The EMC Sourceview is a GladeVCP part and is self contained to show the currently loaded G code file. I think to do some other task with python you would need to use the GTK sourceview and program it in python. I've not done that yet.
