i found this tread:

i run these codes on a fresh debian stretch image (r10)
it worked!

For the user's that misses glade widgets with newer a glade version. See attachment.

That doesn't apply to GTK3 versions of Glade though right? I assume that only applies to getting glade GTK2 up and running on a newer distro version?

GTK3 is not compatible with GladeVCP.
