Glade Spindle Speed Meter

I have a lathe setup that I have been using for quite some now.
I have a pyvcp spindle speed indicator that step config create and it measures actual speed from an encoder and works great.

I created a gladevcp panel with a spindle speed meter and the only thing changed in my postgui.hal file was from pyvcp to gladevcp.hal_hbar1. (sorry not at the machine for the exact change) and it works but the speed reading is carried out many many decimal places and lags very bad.

I can not figure out why this is?

Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if you need more info.

In Gladevcp editor change the Hbar's 'text template' property to
%3.1f

I think that should do it.
(pyvcp bar uses this as default)
